Ok, I don't really no where to start, but I dont have any where else to go. I need answers, it wont leave me alone. I'm going to start from the beginning, and hopefully my encounter is written well, and not all over the place.

This whole thing started maybe, four years ago or so. I live in a small town here, and it seems Almost no one had heard of little Nibley Utah. I've always had strange encounters my whole life, but this one scares me.

A little layout of my home, its a small half acre lot, with a fence on the home behind mine, and to the right of my house. Although my neighbor to the left, did not have one. They had a small part of their backyard barren for gardening. So it was almost always empty. In my yard right besides the patio is my playground. This will become relevant soon. And in the back of my yard stood a tall maple tree.

My first issue with this creature, was when I was ten. My neighbors with the garden had a black cat, and I would play with him from my playground swing set. Laugh at him chasing and attacking weeds that I tempted him with. Today was one of those days. Just playing and having fun, when the cat froze. His back immediately arching, hair standing on end, and staring towards the garden at my neighbors house. I looked up at the empty lot, but saw nothing. He kept this up for a good minute before returning to normal. Unfortunately, a few weeks later, they found him on their back porch with a hole in his neck. Already dead.

A few months later they got two new kittens. Both of which were black and white. Almost two years later, my little sister and I were playing with one of the cats, when the same thing happened. He froze, looked at the garden, and hissed. Same thing happened after that, he died of mysterious circumstance a week later.

Every thing was silent until I turned fourteen and we got my own black cat, named Catniss. We had also gotten our yard fenced in to stop my siblings from playing in the road. I was in the back yard, laying with my cat on my stomach, and she immediately perked up, staring at the neighbors garden through the fence, before running over to the fence and growling in that direction. I panicked and followed, but you're not supposed to touch a cat when they're in defensive mode. Or they might attack you. So I peered over the fence to shoo off what ever might have annoyed my cat..

But this time I saw it. It was a shadowy figure. Devoid of any light, besides its round, yellow eyes. Squatting in the garden and watching my cat. But as soon as it saw me, I couldn't move. Just from the way it looked at me, I knew it wasnt friendly.

I scooped up my angry cat and ran her to the garage. Keeping her locked in for several days so she wouldn't die like the others. in fact, I still have her to this day. And I am seventeen now, she is healthy and well.

Anyways, back to the story, i forgot about the creature for a few months. Thinking I was just hallucinating, and it wasn't really there. One day, my sister and I grabbed our sleeping bags and climbed into the playground For a sleep over. And things went smoothly at first. But at some point during the night I heard a soft, trilling noise that woke me up. And when I opened my eyes, I saw the yellow eyes looking at me from my tree across the yard. I didnt scream, but I didn't look away. I snuggled up with my sister, and stayed awake, even when the eyes disappeared.

Fast forward a few more months. A few days before my fifteenth birthday, I hear tapping on my bedroom window. I ignore it the first few nights, but then I decided to be a dumbass and peek through my curtains. Only to see this creature grinning at me through the window.

After this I would wake up with bruises and scratches all up my legs that would fade within and hour. And no matter what I did it didnt stop.

This continued till the end of January, 2019, when my family moved. I hadnt encountered this thing until I told my friend about it.. And now, in May of 2019, the bruises are back. And I have no idea how to get rid of it. Please anyone, do you have any idea what it is. Or how to get rid of it? Sorry for my hastily written story, its 2:29 Am, and I hear the tapping on the window again. But the worst part is this thing would have had to lift a 50 lb window well cover to do this. And I havent heard a thing. Im genuinely terrified for my life.

Hi. I have moved this into the Mysterious Creatures category, as this is a story rather than  a discussion topic. Great story by the way!

I agree with AmmeJeanRomeo, this is a great story! I wish I could offer some advice as to how to get rid of this creature.
It seems like it only starts back up when you talk about it to others which is what these types of entities feed on: attention/acknowledgement and negative emotions. Good luck!

Thank you, I just didn't know where else to turn. And lately I've started watching Darkness Prevails youtube channel, and thought maybe this would be the best.

Thank you for your input, Im still trying things to rid myself of him. Other than a few bruises and scratches I haven't suffered any more harm. But he still terrifies me. He also seems to genuinely hate my cat, and she hates him. He will leave me alone for the most part when Im with her.

Glad she's there to keep you as safe as she can. Cats have one foot in and one foot out of this realm imo. They make for great guardian/companions (:

The two cats I have now Peanut and Pinecone always let me know when something bad is around. Even though my dogs keep me safe my cats keep me safe from bad things.
