San
Ok let’s keep this brief. My name is Dan B. and I’m from a small town in Texas with a population of about 1,500. So this happened in 2009 about 10 years ago. For some context about my house back then it was very spooky and run down, over 100 years old and was very popular in the 1890s because of a man who murdered his wife.

I’ve never been a fan of horror and when I figured this out I thought my parents were tricking me. But I looked back in newspapers and figured out they weren’t lying. So what does this have to do with my story? Well I’ll tell you 2 encounters with a ghost I think may have fallen victim of the murder.

So the first encounter was at about 1 AM on a Saturday night. I was staring outside my window because I was bored. That’s when I heard footsteps in the hallway. Me being the curious 11 year old I was, I opened the creaking door and saw a luminous, pale figure with a torn dress and with light glowing around it. I was about to confront it when it disappeared.

Now that was the less spooky story. The scarier one was when I was 13 and I was trying to fall asleep after a day of school. That was when I noticed the light out in the hall was flickering nonstop. Also. the guest bedroom door was opening and closing constantly. Me, still being a curious kid, went to investigate what was happening, when I heard a feminine voice say, “Dan, why did you do this to me?” In a petrified bone-chilling voice.

After that I ran back to my room and locked the door.   The next morning I told my parents about it and they didn’t believe me until they investigated the  hallway near my room and they saw bloody handprints all over the walls and doors. I still cannot explain what happened to this day. Let me know about any explanations you may have on this situation.
