Just a random question I'd like to throw out there in case anyone has experienced similar events...

We all have days, weeks, and even months of simple 'bad luck'

I am curious to know if anyone in the forum can relate?
Last week in particular I had the worst luck (for lack of a better word)
Things were breaking or going wrong in several areas in my life...
I noticed prior to these unfortunate events, I had been seeing several black cats in the weirdest places.

Don't get me wrong, I adore a black cat when I see one but shortly after this,  the brakes in my vehicle went out completely!
Ialso kept hearing and seeing crows everywhere I went (another creature I love)

More than once... Something would go wrong or break. Almost as though they were warning me.
Am I simply paranoid or is this a common occurrence for anyone else?
Thank you guys for getting to the end. Any response or story would be greatly appreciated!

I thought I had the corner market on omens. All of my life, I have had them and they warn me of deaths. Birds are one of the big warnings for me. They will fly at me, and try to get in my windows to warn me of someone's death. Last year, I opened my door and two birds flew right at my face and a few months later, I had one trying to peck its way into my window. Several people I knew died last year after this. Also, this very morning, I saw a black shadow glide across my room and I know to expect bad news soon. My dreams are other sources of omens. When I dream of children, I always hear of death. It is like I have Death radar. So, you are not alone. If a black cat crosses my path, I have bad luck too. I love  black cats! But it does happen to me.

@Tonya Brooks wow, you seem to be well acquainted with this sort of phenomenon.
I appreciate your response and also sorry to hear of all the losses you've endured.

I, too, have a relationship of sorts with birds similarly to what you described.
Mine happens to be an owl (favorite bird 💜 btw)
It doesn't happen often but when they appear, it always ends up being a warning of a change to come. Good or bad.
I could go on about this subject to the point of flooding the page lol. However, I have work soon. Thanks again for sharing!

Don't get me started about owls. Like you, I could flood this page with all the omens I have received. I got this from my mother who has death dreams that scare the crap out of me. Both of her parents had this phenomena happen all the time to them too. If anyone is around me for a long amount of time, they too will see the strange things. Several years ago, my husband and I were out eating at a Whataburger in Florida at 2:30 in the AM when a bird fluttered at the window behind me. My husband pointed it out and wondered who'd be passing. That entire week, I had an omen every night and my dad witnessed a few of them too. This happened in November of 2013 and starting in December, a bunch of people passed on. One of the warnings happened to be that my dad and I heard our neighbor call for dad outside one night and no one was there. Within a week her mother passed away. Another night, dad's TV started ringing with the worst noise we'd ever heard and he had to unplug the thing for a while. Just really weird things will happen suddenly before I hear of deaths.

When things are about to change in my life, I will get this intense feeling that I need to just throw the door open and run. It happened recently and my husband and I moved a month ago. Thank you for posting about your experiences. Oh, back to the owls, my husband and I both get bad news every freaking time we see owls or even hear them. I mean even in their natural habitat at night in the most normal of settings, and it won't be long till we find out someone has passed. We both have Irish ancestors. Lol. Before his dad died last year, an owl about flew into our truck and I know the poor thing clipped its wing on the side of the truck. then five minutes later it happened again with a 2nd owl! Another thing, I had dreamed of an owl flying down to look my father in law in the eyes before he passed. I had dreamed a few times last year of owls and my husband lost a couple more family members as well as I did. I do have journals of all the omens that have happened through the years to myself and others around me. It is one subject that I have always been fascinated by.

Forgot to tell you about my red tailed hawk experience. No one believes me but a few years back, I was sitting in a Walmart parking lot and a red tailed hawk landed on a cart holder right next to me! I could have touched that bird, but I also knew a something big was about to happen. It only sat there a moment and I never saw where it went. But two weeks after that, I lost someone very dear to me and it hurt like hell.

I love Crows and love to feed them and I've had people tell me that one of them in particular would sit and watch my door to see if I was coming out. Haha! They love peanut butter! But yes, they are bad omens for me too. :-/

Yes, I love to hear other's experiences.  I was the type that would get my coworkers to tell me unusual experiences at work, lol. You're welcome. 😆
