So this happened to me about a year ago. My grandpa passed away in late February or early March I( can't remember the exact date right now) of 2016. I remember that I was visiting my dad for the weekend and my birthday had been a week prior (my birthday is on March 8th by the way), so my dad was looking at cards to get for me while I was in another aisle with my siblings.

As my sister and I walked back to the cart, she put her hat and gloves in the little child seat. As my dad picked up the gloves and hat and was putting them in the main compartment of the cart, he froze.

"Did you put this in here?" He asked, sounding confused.

My brother, sister, and myself all shook are heads. None of us had done anything and we knew it. He looked at me in disbelief and held up this beautiful daughter birthday card. I was confused and I thought he was making a joke and just wanted to show me the pretty card he picked so I laughed.

He said something along the lines of, "no I'm serious. Who put this in the cart?"

My face fell because I knew none of us had. It wasn't me and my siblings weren't even on the side of the cart close to the cards, so they couldn't have done it. We told him that it wasn't us again and he kind of just stayed silent and we kept walking.

We talked about it a little more in the store and when we got home, Me and his girlfriend at the time came to the conclusion that it HAD to have been my grandpa helping pick out a card for me. Even thought I was only 10 years old, I knew this had to have been the reason. My dad on the other hand, was still skeptical. In fact, even to this day he still thinks it was one of us. Anyways, when we got home, he wrote me a little note in it and I'm going to be honest, I can tell that he kind of did know it really was my grandpa just by the fat that he wrote something about him in my birthday card, but maybe he just didn't want to admit it for some reason.

I still have the card and will post a couple of pictures of it. I hope you enjoyed this story and I will keep making more parts to the "Grandpa's Visits" series because there were quite a few times I had experiences with him. Also, I made one a little bigger so you can read what it says   WIN_20200102_05_56_36_Pro.jpg WIN_20200102_05_56_46_Pro_LI.jpg

Also, I now see that I accidentally types 2016 instead of 2017. My bad!
