A while back my mom told me about a encounter she had as a kid with her sister in her farm in rural Mexico... To start off my mom's dad was shot and killed right in front of her by their neighbor when she was 12 years old over an unknown reason  he died right in front of her.....

a couple days later when they were hanging out they decided to vandalize their neighbors(the murderers house) for payback. ik kinda dumb but could you blame them, the sun was setting soon so they headed out...keep in mind they didn't have electricity as the area was really rural and secluded pretty creepy the area was also littered with urban legends like the llorona and the horse faced lady which my uncle actually saw but that's a different story, even weirder my mother grew up right next to a cave system where they'd find pottery from the natives the whole area is full of hills and trails leading to the other houses.

So they walked to the man's house and started messing around with stuff breaking windows and the mail box etc. I believe I really don't remember the details, as the sun barely set down they noticed something walking down the trail my mom called her sister and told her, after she told my aunt they went to get a better look at the trail to their dismay they noticed something creepy they saw that there was a man coming, but it wasnt a normal guy.....

it was a body with no head just walking along the trail getting closer , my mom being scared just stood in fear and grabbed her sister and told her to run they ran back to the house as fast as they could nobody was home which was weird since my mom had a huge family they then locked themselves in and started crying she described to me the feeling of the room was really heavy and eerie waiting in the dark with no light except a oil lantern ...idk if this part is true but she said she started crying for her dad to help them pleading for the thing not to get em she then tells me she felt something in the room with her but it wasn't a scary feeling more comforting than scary she really doesn't know if it was her father maybe watching over them but I'd really like to believe that.

I visited the are when I was 16 and it was a fairly creepy area nothing for miles except the little village down the mountain. My mom has never gone back to her childhood home too many bad memories .my mother believes that it was karma for being stupid kids and for venting trauma in a non healthy way who knows only my mother knows what she saw and I believe her...
