Not my story, but my dad's. He told me when he was little in Jalisco, Mexico, he woke up during the night and looked out the window. There was a fire pit in the yard (I'm pretty sure the house came with it) but it was ablaze. He said that he saw little people and shadows dancing around the fire. To end it off, he said that he would see a lot of more supernatural stuff in his village growing up before leaving as a teen to the U.S.

A couple months ago, I told my mom this story and I asked her if it was real. She replied that before my dad's family moved there, someone killed his wife in front of the kids and then killed himself so it was a very dark house. To be honest, I can't say this murder/suicide pertains to that house but my mom has said it before.

Another thing, supposedly my dad's side of the family has been cursed for like 4 or 5 generations, and my siblings and I are either the last or second to last to deal with it. My paternal great-grandma was possessed in her deathbed. My dad's sister was possessed on the way to the airport (I was there; I was about 5 or 6 year old).

Well to end, both my mom and dad have witnessed and been told unbelievable events in their hometown. Also over here. you may not believe me but I do think it's true.

If you want to hear any more stories told by my parents, just ask me.

@danieluzumki Can I ask who are you referring to in the 2nd paragraph? You just mention 'her' without explaining who 'her' is? - Is it your Mom?

@danieluzumki Love the story - Unfortunately, it's a bit too short to narrate in my usual videos (though I do rarely narrate shorter tales). I'd love to see this story fleshed out and longer if possible! Thank you for your submission.

I’ll retell the story in a longer narrative, @Darkness Prevails. He told me like two years ago and just in case, I ask him again to fact check this one.

My father told me a story from his childhood in a rural town in Jalisco, Mexico. His family lived in a house with a bad history (which my mom provides a tale for; later on). During one night, he couldn’t sleep so he woke up and looked out the window in his room that faces the backyard. There was a fire pit located somewhere in the yard and it’s usually unlit, especially in the middle of the night. Anyways, he told me he saw the fire pit ablaze and he saw what looked to be shadows and little creatures dancing around the fire. He clearly didn’t go outside to investigate because he wasn’t sure what to make of it and he stayed in his room to try to sleep again. Well, this is all from recollection and I will update again once he repeats this story.

My mom’s tale that explains the bad history was told to her by her grandmother that involved a family relative. There was a happy couple, who lived in the same house before my father lived there, that had a few children. They had some financial problems so the dad went and got a loan (by a questionable man) and he wasn’t able to pay the debt. He then entered the house and the wife was cooking in the kitchen and the kids were somewhere in the house or yard. He pulled a knife from the counter and went behind his wife. In that moment, unaware, one of his daughters was in the room adjacent to the kitchen and saw the father slit the throat of the mom and he proceeded to decapitate her. He then took his own life after killing his wife and the daughter was a witness to it.

These were told to me by my parents, and like I said, I’ll ask to hear the story again and I’ll return.

UPDATE: I asked my dad to tell me the story again some stuff are going to change because I forgot the details and I accidentally changed it.
My father told me again his story from his childhood in a rural town in Jalisco, Mexico. The house (it still had a bad history) he lived in was at the edge of the town next to a school and just fields and hills. He was around 6 or 7 years old and it occurred in the night quite often. Well he said that it usually started off with some type of sound around 9 or 10 pm and he looked out his window that faced the ongoing fields and hills and he would see a fire ablaze in the near distance. He said small figures were dancing around it (which were duendes, Spanish term for dwarfs) and according to the culture, they were paranormal creatures. He said that house was really affect spiritually and he would hear “the devil” walking on the roof, or so his parents would claim.
Well, this is the updated section. My father claims it to be true and I believe him because we have witnessed a lot growing up here in California as well. Which I will tell another time, if need be.

My mom’s tale that explains the bad history was told to her by her grandmother that involved a family relative.
